REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST
Our Psychologists are registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia. They have good organizational and writing skills are essential, and experience working with third-party payers and an understanding rehabilitation and disability issues are considered an asset.
You can join us as an employee or as a contractor and are either full-time or part-time.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Our Occupational Therapists are registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia, and have 2 years of clinical experience. New OTs with less than 1 year of clinical experience or students still completing the OT program are also part of our team and are provided with mentorship to support the success as a clinician.
You can join us as an employee working in the WSBC OR1/2, ASTD, OTP, PCMP COT programs, or you can be a contractor providing FCEs and RTWSS.


PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Our Physiotherapists are registered or eligible for registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia, have excellent clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on customer service. They also have good organizational and writing skills and are energetic team players.
Several interim Physiotherapists are under supervision to support their registration process.
You can join us either as employee or contractor; full-time or part-time, and in private practice or WSBC programs.

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Our Massage Therapists are
registered or eligible to register with CMTBC. If you are completing your Massage Therapy program, we offer structured mentorship to help you get your registration successfully.
Join us a contractor & build your practice within our dynamic and supportive RMT team.
KINESIOLOGIST
Our Kinesiologists are flexible, positive, energetic team players and are members in the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) or eligible for membership.
You can join our structured WSBC OR1/2/PCMP/OTP/ASTD programs or our Employment Services as employee, or you can work in our CAR, Personal Training and Individualized Services (FCE, RTWSS) as contractor.
CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
Our RCCs have a Master’s Degree in Psychology or equivalent, are registered or eligible for registration with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
You can join us as employee working in our WSBC programs, or as contractor providing counselling under our Individualized Services group. Part-time opportunities are available.



ADMINISTRATORS & SUPPORT STAFF
Our professional Administrative team values efficiency, flexibility, reliability and demonstrate successful customer service skills.
We have part-time and full-time administrative opportunities working in a supportive and fun work environments.
Intermediate admin experience and/or education in a customer-focused industry are strong assets.

Born out of the motivation to make a real difference in the lives of others, Back in Motion was the first private organization in BC to specialize in the rehabilitation of individuals with chronic back pain, to help them get back to work. Back in Motion’s five founders used their combined expertise in clinical psychology, physiotherapy, and business to help a Richmond man start anew, after being told he would never return to his career in logging. This founding success defined Back in Motion’s purpose to help people improve their health, enhance their opportunities, and live better lives..
